Your day begins with a pick up from your accommodation and scenic drive through the rolling hills and lake views of Lake Forsyth and Little River. Winding roads and breathtaking vistas set the stage as we venture deeper into the Banks Peninsula.
Our first stop brings you to Barrys Bay, where you’ll sample traditional, handcrafted cheeses in a picturesque rural setting. From there, we continue to a nearby alpaca farm – a definite tour highlight. Meet these curious, intelligent, and delightfully fluffy animals that are sure to steal your heart (and fill your camera).
Enjoy a stroll through the picturesque Akaroa township and enjoy a café lunch overlooking the harbour.
The Giants House, a quirky mosaic garden, The Akaroa Lighthouse a heritage building built in 1878 and Cultural Landmarks like Takapūneke.
Conclude your day by travelling back to Christchurch in your private vehicle.
